Risk Stratification
Risk stratification translates healthy/unhealthy lifestyle behaviors into a layered and statistical scoring system
Organizations can use this system to identify and target the most important lifestyle risk factors for neurodegeneration and cognitive decline in their community
About
Risk Stratification
Risk stratification moves beyond the simple identification of a healthy or unhealthy lifestyle behavior to a weighted scoring system that measures each lifestyle behavior against it’s recommended health and wellness protocol
Scores accumulate across all of the 25 lifestyle answers in our online risk assessment to create a total score out of 100 per respondent, where 100 is the best score outcome
Aggregating all response scores allows population analysis via the Lifestyle Domino Effect
Lifestyle Domino Effect
Lifestyles are networks, one or more lifestyle risk modifiers create a domino effect leading to a healthier or unhealthier lifestyle overall
For example, the lifestyles of people at different weight levels are quite different and combine to raise or lower scores for risks of accelerated biological aging, neurodegeneration, cognitive decline, and dementia outcomes including Alzheimer’s disease
Lifestyle Optimization Scores
This domino effect is portrayed in our data analytics service as Lifestyle Optimization Scores and Tables, showing how well lifestyles are optimized on average for the group of people who gave a specific answer response to a question
Tables show clearly the correlation between different behavioral responses and overall lifestyle optimization scores e.g. aerobic exercise frequency
There are 126 core optimization scores in our system
Cognitive Decline Correlations
42 cognitive decline symptoms can be statistically measured against lifestyle optimization scores to show correlations between scores, behaviors and symptomatology
Health Comorbidity Correlations
17 chronic health comorbidities including PTSD, Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Cardiovascular Disease and Menopause can be statistically measured against lifestyle optimization scores to show correlations between scores, behaviors and health outcomes
Data Science Analysis
Apply data filters by gender, age group, ethnicity and education level to the 126 core optimization scores to create tens of thousands of population scores and tens of millions of data points across cognitive decline symptoms and health comorbidities
